STOP ICE BRUTALITY; Protect Our Neighbors:

• Blow the whistle on ICE! Alert vulnerable neighbors when you see ICE nearby or actually detaining someone. Buy yourself loud, pea-less whistles or specialized survival whistles with lanyards for best results from hardware stores, sporting goods stores, 99 cent stores.


• ICE Out of San Diego Rally! Every Thursday, 10:30am - noon. Rally at the downtown Federal Building, 880 Front St. Organized by the San Diego and Imperial Counties Labor Council and over 20 activist groups.


• Sign the letter telling members of Congress: No money for ICE's waterhouse prisons.


• Report abuse by federal immigration agents at these hotlines sponsored by the ACLU Foundation of San Diego and Imperial Counties:

• Monday, May 11, Vista CA: Learn about the San Diego County Budget and how to make your voice count at "Your Voice, Your Budget, Your Community". Organized by 50501 San Diego, Take Action San Diego and San Diego United.


• Saturday, May 16: Sign up for Take Action San Diego's monthly zoom meeting at 4pm. The topic will be "Protecting Our Elections, and How You Can Help."


• Saturday, May 21: Book signing and book release event for "Under the Perfect Sun: The San Diego Tourists Never See". This progressive people's history of San Diego was first published in 2003 and the updated version is now being re-issued. Meet the authors. All are welcome! More information here.


• Sunday, May 31: Concert for Hope and Peace. Belly Up, Solana Beach. An evening of joy, community and live music performend by many of Southern California's most talented musicians.

• Boycott Starbucks, where SEIU workers are on strike for a contract. More information here.


• Boycott Target: Earlier this year, Target rescinded their DEI policies to comply with Trump's anti-DEI efforts. The boycott should continue until Target restores and recommits to DEI and fulfills its $2 billion pledge to the Black business community, as described here. Some alternatives to shopping at Target include Costco, Grove, Kroger, Food 4 Less, eBay and several others listed here.


• Boycott T Mobile: They are partnering with Musk's Starlink, union busting, canceling DEI and more. Sign the pledge to hang up on T Mobile
