STOP ICE BRUTALITY; Protect Our Neighbors:
- Wednesday, April 29: ICE OUT Everywhere! Virtual training. Whether you are organizing in cities, suburban neighborhoods, or rural areas, this training will give you actionable next steps to identify your goals and create an organizing plan to get ICE in all its forms out of our communities. Sign up here.
- Blow the whistle on ICE! Alert vulnerable neighbors when you see ICE nearby or actually detaining someone. Buy yourself loud, pea-less whistles or specialized survival whistles with lanyards for best results from hardware stores, sporting goods stores, 99 cent stores.
- ICE Out of San Diego Rally! Every Thursday, 10:30am - noon. Rally at the downtown Federal Building, 880 Front St. Organized by the San Diego and Imperial Counties Labor Council and over 20 activist groups.
- Sign the letter telling members of Congress: No money for ICE's waterhouse prisons.

Join labor, community and immigrant rights organizations to learn and practice the skills it takes to organize and wage campaigns that will help defeat rising authoritarianism. In person training hosted by a broad coalition of San Diego pro-democracy organizations.

- Boycott Starbucks, where SEIU workers are on strike for a contract. More information here.
- Boycott Target: Earlier this year, Target rescinded their DEI policies to comply with Trump's anti-DEI efforts. The boycott should continue until Target restores and recommits to DEI and fulfills its $2 billion pledge to the Black business community, as described here. Some alternatives to shopping at Target include Costco, Grove, Kroger, Food 4 Less, eBay and several others listed here.
